Studies were conducted on water wells located in the area of Erestovsky iron ore open pit of Kremenchug district, Poltava region. The experimental electrodischarge treatment of water wells with the application of electrohydropulse laboratory equipment was carried out, the results are summarized and evaluated. It is established that the use of the electrodischarge equipment of the closed type for regeneration of shallow water wells of the South side of Erestovsky open pit is low effective because of the lack of impact of compression waves on the filter and the soil layers of the water-intake portion.
