Purpose - improving the diagnosis of infectious diseases caused by intracellular pathogens in children, especially with fever of unknown origin, by improving the quality of diagnostics and rational therapy based on in-depth study of the clinical and pathogenetic features of pathological conditions. A clinical observation of 62 children aged 3 - 17 years, distributed as follows: 8 children 3 - 6 years (pre-school), 17 children 7 - 10 years (school period) and 37 children 11 - 17 years (transitional period, ie prepubertal, pubertal and adolescent) with signs of mono and mixed infections. Methods - medical history (perinatal history and history of development, infectious index), general clinical (objective status, complete blood count, urinalysis), the etiologic (ie - bacteriological, virological, parasitological, serological, marker, molecular henetychvni, tuberculin test, blood cultures for the plasmodium malaria), biochemical, skraninh on autozapalnyy process (acute phase indicators, antinuclear antibody, LE - cells), instrumental (radiological, ehoskopichni, ECG, tomography), invasive (lumbar and sternal puncture, hepatobiopsiya, FEHDS etc.), immunology (immune status, interleukins - 1, 2, 6, TNF,? -IF, lysozyme, complement). Based on the study of the characteristics of clinical manifestations of mono- and mixed infections in children of different ages, and these instrumental and laboratory examination revealed structural and functional features of intracellular diseases and developed measures of rational treatment of these conditions. Determined signs prognostically unfavorable to the development of chronic somatic pathology of autoimmune mechanism of intracellular children from diseases that run across both mono and mixed infection. An intracellular infection, mono and mixed infection, fever of unknown origin, autoimmune mechanisms of development of chronic somatic diseases, autoimmune mechanisms of development, children.
