For the first time in Ukrainian bibliographies within the research theme runs publishing activity of public organizations in Galicia in 1939 as a multi-ethnic phenomenon and Ukrainian publishing centers in Germany, France, Czechoslovakia in 1914-1939. One more aspect of the study is publishing heritage register one of the foremost publishers of Ukraine - Yakiv Orenshtayn is to be fully reflected in the bibliography of his publications and literature about him. According to certain aspects of research in 2015 was planned to continue work on preparing for publication of six scientific bibliographic and historical publications bibliological over which worked 11 scientific staff of the department. Research carried out the following process: working out the source database for each edition; verification of a significant number of publications, bibliographic description were entered into a computer database; contents of some books, brochures, calendars and periodicals were studied for the purpose of information fullness of bibliography. To ensure the completeness of bibliography were used the on-line catalogs of scientific libraries of leading universities, national libraries of some European countries, global bibliographic database WorldCat. Published research will provide the study of Ukrainian publishing process in Western Ukraine and in exile as the all-cultural phenomena, promote to consideration of Ukrainian book publishing in the European process.
