An impact test at different temperatures of standard Charpy specimens, of sub-size specimens and side-grooved specimens were carried out. An analysis of techniques of fracture toughness properties estimation was conducted and the values of is KIc were determined from the results of impact test specimens of different types. Numerical calculations of fracture resistance of the reactor cylindrical part in two-dimensional and three-dimensional formulation were fulfilled and SIF temperature dependences for thermal shock characteristic regimes were obtained using different software, methods and computational schemes.
