The stress-strain curves were obtained from the results of tensile and indentation tests of disc-shaped micro-specimens for the reactor vessel metal, in particular, the as-delivered steel 15Kh2NMFA. Using the metal of the MCP of Dnom 850 and nozzle of steam generator of Dnom 1200 (steel 10GN2MFA) as an example, the procedures for determining the mechanical properties of metals from the results of hardness measurements, which are widely used in nuclear industries of Ukraine and Russia, were analyzed.
