It is shown that among the biggest industrial consumers the biggest potential of reduction in natural gas consumption by saving and substitution is in the mining and metallurgical complex. Showing differences in combustion processes of solid and gaseous fuels, given optimum characteristics of prepared for use in rotary kilns biofuels. It is shown main technical solutions for creation of a complex for substitution of natural gas with prepared biofuels and the results of commissioning. It is shown that the unit cost of biofuels for substituting natural gas is about 2.2 kg / m3. Economic efficiency of the implementation is calculated for work 8,000 hours per year.
