Purpose - to collect statistical material on the number, sex and age composition of children at the time of the accident (1968-1986 year of birth) who had lived in the study the RCT, data on deaths from the cohort and the creation of appropriate databases. Methods - of analytical epidemiology and software technology, system analysis; personal computers. Results. Collected and compiled statistical data on the number, sex and age composition of children at the time of the Chernobyl catastrophe (persons 1968-1986 year of birth), who lived in the most radioactively contaminated rayons of Ukraine (Ivankov, Polesskoe, Narodichy, Ovruch). Formed the cohort studies (more 35 000 people) and created corresponding database. Processed and systematized data of the official statistics of Ukraine (Ministry of health, State statistics service and the Ministry of justice) of the dead on the study rayons during 1986-2011, and collected anonymous information about 2 100 deaths. From the State registry of Ukraine of person's victim by the Chernobyl catastrophe (SRU), selected data on the quantitative and qualitative composition of persons 1968-1986 year of birth (35.000 persons), on deaths from the cohort of (500 cases) and doses of exposure in the studied rayons and created corresponding database. It is shown that the data of persons at the time of the accident coincide on all sources of information. Numbers of deaths from casualties in the SRU less in comparison with the data of the State statistics service and Ministry of justice. Filling the SRU information about individual doses and irradiation of the thyroid gland is not sufficient for epidemiological analysis and requires materials retrospective dosimetric. The study information made it possible to generate a list of absolute and relative indicators (28) to be calculated at the following stages of research.
