The aim is to study and experimental verification of content and technology of social and pedagogical work in schools. Methods of study are theoretical, empirical, and mathematical. Results: conceptual approach to the study is proved, developed a comprehensive methodology experiment that allowed to detect problems in the implementation of the social and pedagogical support in secondary schools and to identify current status and trends in risky behavior of the senior schoolchildren in the sphere of Internet-communication, social interaction difficulties of adolescents, social and pedagogical problems of the children from families displaced from the ATO area, value-oriented activity of young teenagers. The novelty of the study: the essence of the concept of social and pedagogical support of the child is clarified; the actual risk group of children and youth of the secondary schools are defined (the senior schoolchildren with risk behavior of the sphere of Internet-communication, teens with the difficulties of social interaction, children from families displaced from the ATO area), criteria and indicators to assess the state of social and pedagogical support of the children in secondary schools are developed.
