The main goal of study is developmant of scientific and methodological recommendations of the main areas of works that have to be implemented at the all NPP decommissioning stages. Risks of radioactive substances escape beyond the NPP unit confinement during the all decommissioning stages of NPP have be analyzed. There is established that these risks are caused by demantling and decontamination operations of building constructions and equipment by mechanical methods. The input data list is defined which is the base for fullfilment of the forecast estimation of the environment during implementation of dismantling and decontamination of equipments. The main factors of irradiation dose accumulation for people during NPP units decommmissioning are analyzed. Regulation control release criteria that are in force in Ukraine and reccommended by international norms and standards for NPP site that is in decommisioning state are analyzed. It was determined the list of input data which should be the basis for fullfilment of the forecast estimation of the environment during implementation of equipment dismantling and decontamination. The main factors of irradiation dose accumulation for the public during NPP units decommmissioning were analyzed. The regulatory release criteria being currently in force in Ukraine and the ones recommended by international rules and standards for NPP site subject to decommisioning, have been analyzed. The approaches were developed to establishing the compliance of the NPP site with the criteria of complete and restricted release from the regulatory control by: Determination of radionuclide composition of radionuclide vector (vectors) for the NPP site contamination. Calculation of doses of the public irradiation under the condition of permanent residence on the exempted from regulatory control territories at the conditions of cultivation and further consumption of all food typical for the area.
