Karazin popup.description2 Objects of research: liposomes, red blood cells, leukocyte-platelet fraction of blood, Gram-positive facultative anaerobic coca Staphylococcus aureu, strain St. aureu ATCC, facultative anaerobic gram-negative bacillus Escherichia coli, E. coli strain ATCC); unicellular algae Astasia longa, rat liver mitochondria, yeast. The purpose of the work is to determine the molecular mechanisms of biological activity of new artificial selenium-containing heterocyclic compounds, depending on the functional substituents in their structure. Methods - biophysical, biochemical, chemical, microbiological, physical, mathematical. It has been determined the biological activity of the new compounds - anti- and prooxidant; influences on the bioenergetic characteristics coupled membranes; membrane tread; membrane damaging; immunomodulatory. Activity depends on the concentration of the molecules and the substituents in their structure. The methods of control vital functions of various biological objects using selenium-containing compounds were formed. We obtain the fundamental knowledge on the effects of new selenium-containing compounds, artificial and unicellular biological objects. The established qualitative and quantitative laws are important for the development of new methods of use of selenium-containing compounds multicellular organisms. The results can be used in biotechnology, pharmacology, microbiology, food industry. Product Description popup.authors Дорош О. Дяченко В Забєліна І. Коваленко А Левченко О Нікітченко І.
