The purpose of the approach was dynamic behavior of the two-mass vibro-impact system with two degrees of freedom analysis. The stability or instability of the received periodic motions determined by the eigenvalues of the monodromy matrix (multiplicators) according to the Floquet theory. An effective approach to the analysis of wave propagation in poroelastic and thermoelastic solids was developed. The sealing of the soil massive under the action of pulsed loads was investigated with the help of obtained modification of boundary integral equations method. The propagation of spherical and cylindrical waves was studied as well. With the helр of the spectral approach a study of the dynamic response of a multistory building on the kinematic excitation was fulfilled. The condition of the building safe deformability under the influence of an unfavorable combination of loads was verified. The probabilistic models of wind loads acting on the system of two connected thin-walled shells was constructed using meteorological data. On the basis of spectral analysis the effect of the stochastic component of wind load on the state of safety and capacity of the fuel tank, located on the Ukrainian Antarctic station, was evaluated.
