Number of approaches for improving methods of selection of frosthardiness breeding material of soft winter wheat from hybrid populations were worked. Regimes of hardening and freezing seedlings and germinated seeds were proposed. High frost hardiness lines of soft winter wheat from hybrid populations were allocated. By methods of freezing we advanced methodological recommendations "Methods of selection of frost hardiness hybrid material of soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)" were developed.
