The objective of the scientific research work and research development work is to ensure the uniformity and traceability of measurements within the state in optical and optico-physical measurements with the improved national primary measurement standard of the unit of the luminous intensity DETU 11-02-96. The subject of the scientific research work and research development work is the improvement of the national primary measurement standard of the units of luminous intensity, namely the extension of its functional capabilities and implementation of the newest scientific and technological achievements into the design of the measurement standard. Instability of the measurement standard is no more than a half of nonexceptional systematic error for the relevant measurement unit per year. The results of the scientific research work and the research development work will be implemented into the national system for ensuring the uniformity of measurements in Ukraine.
