Provided was functioning of the primary standard of time and frequency units kept in UMC, realization and keeping of the time and frequency units by this standard, introduction of the coordinated national time scale of Ukraine (UTC(UA)), and comparison with the Coordinated International Time Scale and National Time Scales of other countries, and also participation on forming of the International Atomic Time Scale.
