The goal of research in whole - generation and investigations of the high-performance thermionic cathodes with the controlled complex of electrophysical properties for application in the aerospace technique. The stage goal - to develop of production method of cathode materials based on 3(BaxSryCazO)·2Sc2O3, where х + y + z = 1 with the different contents of highly dispersed tungsten, and to investigate of emission and radiative properties of these materials and monocrystals based on rare earth metals borides (LaB6-(Ti, Zr)B2, HoB12, TmB12,); to develop of technological processes of the multicomponent coatings with controlled components composition (for the case of tungsten carbide). Results of obtaining of composite pressed cathode materials, based on barium scandate with tungsten, and measuring of emission characteristics and life tests of cathode based on barium hafnate 80% Ba0.75Sr0.25HfO3 - 20 % W (by mass) are contributed in the report. In addition tulium and holmium dodecaborides emission characteristics, the features of phase transformation of ones in tetraborides are presented. The report contains of results of coating method and properties of coatings based on tungsten carbide, and also of barium scandate emitters erosion based on spectra of radiation plume electric propulsion.
