A feature of the work is to create nanostructures on the basis of NPs with the certain shape, that have unique electronic and optical properties which are mainly determined by their shape and size. The technologies for the synthesis of the NPs of certain geometry and surface functionalization by applying highly ordered organic monolayers. The control of created surface structures was performed by atomic force microscopy and scanning tunneling microscopy. For the first time using the adsorption of the diaretylen molecules have been obtained surface that optical properties can be controlled from the outside. There was created the way of controlling the optical properties of the NPs by changing their shape under the action of ultraviolet radiation, as well as the establishment of centers of electroluminescence by the method of nanosphere lithography. The work demonstrated the ability to create nanostructures on the basis of the NPs by nanomanipulation - by the displacement of an individual particles.
