New methods are based on solving the inverse backscattering problem at multifrequency acoustic sounding of gas flares and using the fluctuations characteristics of echo-signals. As a result of numerical experiments, as well as computer simulations and laboratory modeling, the effectiveness of the proposed methods was shown and their potentiality and conditions of applicability were set.
