The research methods were as follows: cromatography, spectrophotometry, DSC, EPR, NMR. There was studied the effect of individual fractions of HPEs after storing them or placenta at -20 and -196°C on autohemolysis level, osmotic and acid resistance, dynamic structure of erythrocyte cytosol and respiratory activity of yeast S. cerevіsіae. The changes in properties and biological activity of HPEs and their fractions during storage of both HPEs and placentas at -196°C were shown to occur at freeze-thawing stage. Novelty: There were determined and theoretically substantiated the conditions for a long-term low temperature storage of placental extracts and tissue, enabling the maximum preservation of properties of individual fractions of the extracts with a possible further application in clinical practice.
