The purpose of investigation: to elaborate the conceptual basics for revealing of the natural and natural- anthropogenic threats and assessment of the risk of the appearance of the emergency situations appearance taking into account the principal factors and intensity of the dangerous processes, limiting conditions of the environment, features of its anthropogenic transformation. The methods of investigation: geologic-geomorphological, morphostructural-neotectonical, cartographic, morphometric, geochemical analysis, geoinformational cartographic modeling. The results of investigation: Generalization of the data of the manifestation of the dangerous natural and natural-anthropogenic processes on Ukraine's territory has been done; conceptual basics, general trends and methods of specialize geomorphological, morphostructural-neotectonic, geologic, geochemical and cartographic investigations for the purpose of the assessment of the situation and determination of the ways to optimize the vital activity domain of a man have been substantiated. The principal factors of activation of the dangerous natural and natural-anthropogenic processes manifestation and appearance of emergency situations on the Ukraine's territory taking into account the limiting conditions of the environment, the features of its anthropogenic transformation and formation of natural-anthropogenic geosystems have been determined. Scientific basics of revealing and assessment of the risk of manifestation of the dangerous natural and natural-anthropogenic processes taking into account the trend of environmental development and degree of anthropogenic load have been justified. Characteristics of the preliminary conditions and factors of the appearance of the emergency situation connected with destruction or destabilization of natural and natural-anthropogenic geosystems function have been submitted.
