Objective: To study fundamental hypothesis about the ability of electromagnetic and ultrasonic waves to influence the formation of microbial biologically active substances and biofilms. Methods: microbiological, biological, statistical. The researches allowed to identify the strain L. plantarum isolated from bees, which manifests antagonistic activity against pathogenic corynebacteria 1,8-5,0 times more often than the basis probiotic strains L. acidophilus and L. ramnosus. Physicochemical factors that enhance or inhibit antagonistic and adhesive properties of lactobacilli were defined. It was found that the microaerofilic conditions increased the rate of glucose consumed by lactobacilli and stimulated their competetive and adhesive properties. It was established that the use of millimeter waves in 61,0 GHz frequency band increased competitive properties of candidate-strain against pathogenic corynebacteria and Staphylococcus aureus, and low-energy ultrasound did not influence on the competitive properties. The influence of probiotic strain-candidate metabolites on biological properties of pathogenic (C. diphtheriae) and opportunistic (S. aureus) bacteria was studied. It was found that these substances inhibited the growth of microorganisms and the formation of bacterial biofilms, helped to reduce the toxicity of diphtheria exotoxin and repressed formation of the enzymes of Staphylococcus aureus aggression . The results reveal the prospects of development of technologies aimed at creating of a new type of drugs against C. diphtheriae and S. aureus, and improve their production and testing.
