The work according to operating in Ukraine of regulations, including the Law of Ukraine "On Protection of Cultural Heritage", decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 13.03.2002 number 318 "On approval of the definition of borders and regimes of historical areas of settlements, limiting economic activity on the territory of historical areas of settlements", decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 30.06.2010 number 543 "On approval of the development, coordination, approval, changes to building codes and defining them as invalid". Research object: special scientific and project documentation regulative protecting nature, which is being developed on the basis of historical and architectural support program taking into account other research material cultural heritage of the historical settlement, as well as the composition and content of this document. The aim of work consists in the improvement of normative base in the field of planning, building of cities by establishment of modern requirements to composition and maintenance of scientific and project documentation for determining the boundaries and regimes of use of zones of protection of sights of architecture and town-planning. Research method: analysis of normatively-legal acts and normative documents operating in Ukraine and other countries of the world in industry of town-planning, and also - in the field of the guard of cultural heritage. Results and their novelty: project of SSТU B.2.2-Х:201Х "Composition and maintenance of the scientific and project documentation for determining the boundaries and regimes of use of zones of protection of sights of architecture and town-planning" are worked out on replacement of SBN B.2.2-2-2008.
