The analysis of world experience in measuring and calculating the magnetic field (MF) three-phase high-voltage power lines has been performed. We developed a new method for calculating power transmission lines and methods of experimental verification of the results. The formulas for engineering calculation of MF of the overhead and underground cable and power lines with split phases have been obtained and the conditions for their use have been defined. The interactive computer program for calculating MF of the power line has been designed. The basic scientific principles of normative document "Methodology for the calculation of the magnetic field of three-phase power lines" have been developed. The experimental verification of the developed technique in the laboratory and on existing power lines has been performed. The evaluation of the accuracy of calculations of MP using the developed technique has been performed. The sanitary-hygienic evaluation of existing transmission lines of Ukraine has been carried out.
