The analysis of the physical processes in the energetics resulting in the scattering of electromagnetic energy is performed. It revealed the relationship between the total losses of the electric power and intensity of the electromagnetic field scattering. The scientific approach to the creation of energy-saving methods to reduce the electromagnetic field scattering networks, the energy-efficient design and technological methods to reduce the electromagnetic field of overhead and cable transmission lines is developed. It was revealed that active and passive methods of screening of the magnetic field of overhead and cable transmission lines lead to significant losses of electricity. To improve their energy efficiency it is advisable to limit their use of local transmission line adjacent to residential and public buildings. The energy-efficient design and technological techniques to reduce EMI air and cable transmission are proposed.
