The purpose of the work - the theoretical definition of the conditions under which a combination of intensity and the relative orientation of the external magnetic and electric field makes it possible to effectively control the localization and propagation of electromagnetic and acoustic waves in magnetic (especially layered) structures, in order to study the use of this class of media as the frequency selective surface with controllable dynamic characteristics. Research methods - methods of theoretical acoustics and electrodynamics of bounded media, methods of mathematical and computer modeling, methods of mathematical physics, in particular solutions of differential equations in partial derivatives, numerical methods.In this is studied a cycle of theoretical studies to determine the conditions under which the magnetic (including layered), the medium becomes the dynamic properties of frequency selective surface, controlled by an external constant magnetic or electric field. These conditions result from the study of the new features of the spin-wave electrodynamics and acoustics of the interface of the magnetic and non-magnetic nedia. Proved the impact of electric and magnetic fields on the simultaneous achievement of the extreme values of surface wave impedance and maximize the intensity of the evanescent wave depends on its frequency, polarization and the wave number. This analysis is performed for a layered medium with magnetic in Otto and Kretschmann geometry, the plate, as well as the boundaries of one-dimensional magnetic photonic crystal. Clarify the connection between the spectrum of surface or bulk magnetic polaritons and magnetic polaritons flowing into the next, the optically denser medium and conditions of the selective transparency of the surface of the corresponding bounded magnetic medium. The conditions under which in total internal reflection increase the effect Goos-Hanchen possible in the case of a single interface between the optically transparent media. Here are some examples of the implementation of the mechanism of increase Goos-Hanchen shift interface optically denser medium and gyrotropic and pseudochiral media. It is shown that simultaneous consideration along with the linear magnetostriction also magnetoelastic interaction leads to a fundamental restructuring of the spectrum shear surface elastic waves that propagate along the surface of the mechanically free crystal piezomagnetic.
