The object of study - faceted Jewelry inserts of natural and synthetic diamonds. Purpose - a system of operations research methods and certification of diamond jewelry inserts that will uniquely identify them, to ensure compliance with certain quality, and establish and reflect the nature of the stone. The task of certification of diamonds lies in strict relation to the corresponding stones document and preventing substitution of the latter, which is important for consumer protection jewels and protect the interests of the state in controlling the circulation of diamonds. Methods - literary and analytical UV-photoluminescent topography, IR- spektoroskopy, katodolyuminestsent topography, optical microscopy, electron microscopy. The results - diagnostics, determination of the nature and physical-type of diamond, identify treatment factors, inserts characteristics, reconstruction of the anatomy and photofixation ontogenic crystal growth figures are basic and sufficient system of research operations to create the database of diamonds certification. UV ontogenic growth figure of each crystal diamond is unique and can be used for identification purposes diamond jewelry inserts like a "fingerprint."
