We have proposed a new scheme of reaction element for the realization of the process of methane reforming and developed a mathematical model of its dynamics, where a dense bed of catalyst granules with gas mixture in its cavities is considered as a quasihomogeneous medium with certain effective characteristics. We have created software for the realization of developed models. We have proposed methods of the thermodynamic calculations of different schemes of using secondary energy resources. We have developed the optimal schemes of thermochemical recuperation for gas turbines, internal combustion engines, and industrial furnaces as well as found the optimal conditions of their operation.
