In particular, it examined the theoretical problems of international legal responsibility arising in contemporary international law. Much attention is also paid special responsibility of subjects of international law, with the cooperation in specific areas of international relations, as well as the practice of Ukraine in this field. In particular, a study was conducted in the following areas: basic stages of formation of institute of responsibility in international law; the notion of responsibility in modern international law and its evolution; trends in the development of strict liability; the institute of responsibility of an international organization in the modern international law; new directions of development responsible for the violation of the rights of national minorities, including linguistic rights; the impact of the practice of the United Nations International Court of Justice on the development of the responsibility for violation of the rules of diplomatic law; feature of international legal responsibility in the field of protection of cultural property; the modern development of the responsibility for the pollution of the marine environment; the question of liability in the framework of compliance with the conditions of functioning of CIS Free Trade Area. Separately, in the framework of the research topics studied the role and place of comparative law in the activities of UNESCO.
