Objective - creation of basic scientific and technological bases needed for the practical use of ion-plasma modification of the surface layers of various products and vacuum deformation technologies for production expansion of new types of highly efficient metal multilayer composites. Research methods - hot and cold atmospheric vacuum rolling; heat treatment; microstructure analysis; radioisotope method for studying radiation-protective properties of multilayer composites; nanoindentation; X-ray fluorescence analysis and electron microscopy The developed technology for experimental strips of multilayer composites of Al-Pb, by joint application of vacuum hot rolling and cold atmospheric and synthetic two component coatings produced by the vacuum arc deposition and sputtering gas plasma stream. Shows the experimental data set according to the value of the attenuation coefficient of flow of ionizing radiation composites of Al-Pb on the parameters of the internal architecture - the surface density and volume of the lead in the composites. It also includes the composition, structure and properties of the two-component nanostructured coatings. It is shown that radiation-protective properties composites of Al-Pb has the emergence and on 30-40% higher than this characteristic for aluminium. Showing that obtained W-Ta nanostructured coatings characterized crystallite size of 25...29 nm, hardness 30...40 GPa, Young's modulus of 230...390 GPa, H/E ~ 0,04..0,08.
