For realization of tasks research project used general scientific and special methods. Hermeneutic method was used in the study of primary sources. Categorical analysis method used to study the philosophical terminology that defines meaningful basis of the texts, the creation of which was related to the Ukraine in the period. Special historical methods (including of sources) used to estimate the age of manuscript sources, the problems of authorship and preparation of critical editions and translations. The final solution of the problem will become possible by using the method of comparative analysis, particularly in tracing parallels and differences between different traditions. Each of the aforementioned philosophical traditions seen in the perspective of both domestic okremishnoho development, and in relation to others. The project confirms the basic idea that, despite significant cultural and religious differences, areas of philosophical thought in medieval and early modern Ukraine is formed in similar socio-political and ethnic terms, reflecting the ideological processes in Eastern Europe as a whole. These traditions ethno culture in Ukraine have had an intensive exchange of scientific and philosophical ideas of the important centers of knowledge (Rome, Padua, Bologna, Krakow, Leipzig, Constantinople, Cairo, Damascus and al.), Which boosted the role of Ukrainian lands in the development of world science and educational space. During the reporting period, was issued 9 monohraph, scientific journals published 14 article. R & D performers aprobuvaly research results at 12 conferences, including abroad (USA, Poland). Results of research used to develop lectures, tutorials and manuals for specialties "Religion", "Culture", "History of Ukraine", including "Medieval philosophy on Ukrainian territory," "Islamic philosophy in Ukraine", "Jewish philosophy in Ukraine" . Also there training course and qualification papers these professions students to study certain aspects of the fundamental problem, including elaboration of specific sources (Arabic, Polish, Latin etc.). Projected assumptions about the object of study: the results of scientific research enable a new way to treat mutual eastern and western traditions of intellectual discourse in philosophical thought of medieval and early modern Ukraine.
