The task includes also defining the methods and equipment that can be used for inspection of underwater bridges bearings using special equipment (without human immersion) basing on the results of the study of national and international technical literature related to inspection of underwater bridges bearings; conduct research of underwater bridges bearings; data acquisition on the changes taking place over time in the bottom topography within the bridge location area and detection of erosion. Basing on the results, the need and frequency of underwater bridges bearings inspection should be established; the data to be included in the current SOU 45.2-00018112-053 should be identified; a new version of the SOU should be developed and agreed in accordance with established order.
