Objective of research: to create the classification models of content of the Ukrainian information space. Methods of research: descriptive analysis (comparative, structural, documentary information), observation, survey, experiment, content analysis, interpretation and synthesis. The communication aspects of media effects are analyzes; the classification of media impact effects on public consciousness are developed; the techniques and tactics of changing of the society influenced by media content are described; the classification model of the Ukrainian media content is proposed. In order to build the classification model of the modern Ukrainian advertising and PR space it was analyzed the use of modeling as a technique of the modern scientific research in the various fields of science and management theory. It is detailed the different types of informational models of advertising and PR; it is developed the classification models of Ukrainian advertising and public relations used for image improvement and enhancement of impact on subconscious and control of the target audience. The analysis of use of political PR in the hybrid war of Russia against Ukraine is represented. The summary of modern theories of information wars and propaganda are proposed. The techniques of propaganda are classified; the peculiarities of Russians' mentality regarding their perception of propaganda are analyzed. The possible ways of counteraction of informational aggression are shown. The modern state of Ukrainian book publishing in the context of its capabilities to impact on the society is researched. The changes which took place in the domestic book market in 2014-2015, including the new reading preferences as a result of new requests caused by the events of Euromaidan and then the Russian-Ukrainian conflict are analyzed. It is studied the quantitative and qualitative indicators of the Ukrainian publishing content as the characteristics which determine mostly the level and the character of publishing impact on the society. It is conducted and analyzed the results of the expert survey "The impact of media content on the society". It is prepared the top lists of the Ukrainian paper and electronic publishing houses, taking into account the factors that determine their influence on the society. The results of research work are introduced into the educational process of the Institute of Journalism of the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv.
