Subjects of study - tensor electronic conductivity of graphene, power density, electrostatic potential, work function, the local surface potential, surface morphology, Raman spectroscopy. Purpose - construction of linear response theory of electrons and collective effects of their interaction in graphene, the construction of a theory that would allow to calculate the electron emission of carbon nanostructures, synthesis of graphene layers on the surface of nickel and a comprehensive study of the properties of films obtained. Research methods - modern methods of theoretical physics, magnetron sputtering method, a method of heat treatment, vacuum method. A theory of linear response Dirac electrons in graphene strongly doped when the electrons are in a strong external uniform stationary electric field. Received and analyzed the complex conductivity tensor, which depends on the frequency and wave vector of the external alternating field, power density and other characteristics of the system under consideration. Revealed a possible drift region of instability in the terahertz frequency range. It is shown that deviation from linearity of the energy spectrum and take into account the effects of screening are critical in the near kinematic resonance. It is shown that in systems with a linear electron spectrum than conventional plasmon waves and Van Kampen waves are more related to the presence of branching points in the polarization function Dirac electrons. These waves decay in time for the power law. A theory that will allow calculate electron emission from carbon nanostructures. Introduced method of graphene layers on the metal surface of the solid source. The synthesis of graphene layers on the surface of nickel thin film by thermal processing structure Ni / a-SiC. The obtained carbon nanostructures are promising for use as electron emitters. During the first phase of the project we have published two original works done and 3 reports at international conferences.
