Pilot study has been performed concerning the permanent magnetic field effect on the polymer materials and their melts. Experimental welding of technical polyethylenes PE80 and PE100 effected by longitudinal and transverse permanent magnetic field, and without such effect, has been done. Structure, thermal and operation properties of the welds have been investigated.
