The aim of the research presupposes the study of methods and formation of methodological base for the research of main preparedness characteristics among highly qualified power and single combat sport athletes. The aim of research stage is the study and grounding of automatic assessment methods, modelling and correction of the main preparedness characteristics. The object of the research is the preparedness of power and single combat sport athletes that have different qualifications and that belong to different gender and weight category groups. The subject of the research is improvement the characteristics of technical and tactical preparedness among power and single combat sport athletes. The methods of the research: theoretical analysis of specialized literature; questionnaire and survey; pedagogical observation and testing of physical, technical and tactical preparedness as well as functional state of athletes, anthropometry; computer filming of training and competitive activities of athletes. Physiological tests: a) variational pulsometry; b) determining of bioelectrical body resistance with the help of "Tanita" device (Scientific-research Institute); c) electromyography, methods of mathematic statistics. The results of the research: We have applied into practise the methodology of preparedness characteristics improvement among highly qualified power and single combat sport athletes taking into account the technology of assessment, modelling and correction of technical and tactic preparedness indices in different structural aspects of training process.
