Object – the energy-efficient and resource-saving technologies of corn cultivation. Represented are the results of studying comparative effectiveness of ground and emergency herbicides as well as their combinations on the number and bulk of ground pests in corn seeds. Methods – the field and laboratory experiments. Sowing terms are of great importance for corn growing. Results - the grain productivity of corn is 6,5-7,0 t/ha. Sowing terms and plant population become extremely important in dry years when there is a risk of corn productivity reduction more than twofold.
