Particles of micro- and nanostructured composite materials can be a source of intensive photoluminescence. Theoretical calculations indicate that boron-doped carbon nanotubes and graphene can create stable composites with inorganic materials with higher probability than undoped carbon materials. Composites based on carbonized cellulose and LaVO4:Sm,Eu or K2Bi(PO4)(MoO4):Eu compounds are characterized by intensive photoluminescence and are suitable for elaboration of white light emitting diodes. Absorbance-structural studies of created nanocomposites based on nanoporous carbon materials and thermoexpanded graphite show that resistance and specific surface area of the composite depends on dispersion and concentration of the filler and determine of specific electric capacity of supercapacitors.
