Objective: to develop criteria for early diagnosis and optimization tactics of treatment of cognitive epileptiform desintegration with autism spectrum disorders to reduce the incidence of this disease in children of early age. Research methods: survey of neurological status, electroencephalographic mapping, video EEG monitoring, magnetic resonance imaging of the brain, the GABA concentration in blood plasma, genetic counseling. Used equipment: a set of diagnostic Spectrum + in the bloc EEG signals Neuron-Spectrum +; MRI Magnetom Vision Plus 1,5 T (SIEMENS); fluorometer apparatus "Quantum". As a result of investigations determined that the seizures were observed in 80% of patients with cognitive desintegration. In the absence of attacks on EEG revealed epileptiform activity in 35% of children. The algorithm of differential diagnosis of cognitive epileptiform desintegration and autism spectrum disorders in children, based on the latest methods of functional diagnostics, and integrated treatment with antiepileptic and neurometabolic drugs. As a result of the application of the proposed regimens improvement of cognitive functions was achieved in 90.2% of children without seizures, 76.3% - from isolated attacks and 39.6% of children with frequent seizures. The novelty of the work is to study assosiation between autism spectrum disorders and epileptic encephalopathies, cognitive epileptiform desintegration in children, developing criteria for differential diagnosis of epileptiform disorders in children with autism spectrum disorders. The scientific and theoretical importance is to develop an algorithm of early diagnosis and complex treatment of cognitive epileptiform desintegration in children of early age with autism spectrum disorders. The proposed scheme will allow timely diagnosis of epileptic encephalopathy in infants with cognitive desintegration and autism spectrum disorders.
