A. V. YA. YURYEV NATIONAL ACADEMY OF AGRАRIAN SCIENCES OF UKRAINE popup.description2 Research Object - crop rotation, soil, fertilizer, winter wheat, green manure, sweet corn, spring barley, spring wheat, varieties, hybrids, cultivation technologies. Research Purpose - to develop theoretical principles (conceptual and methodological approach) of optimization and development of cultivation technologies of environmentally friendly products, using organic fertilizers or green manure, testing new biological agents with fungicidal properties, which will reduce pesticide load on the environment and increase resistance of plants to stress factors. Research Methods - field and laboratory experiments. Collection and accumulation of information and processing it on a computer. Results and Novelty. Basing on studies on dependences of cereal yield capacity on crop rotation (predecessors), organic fertilizers, micronutrients, growth stimulators and other elements, we developed five technologies for growing cereals: 1. An adapted technology of growing winter wheat after green manure, which ensures high grain yields and profitability of 132.7-143.0%. 2. An advanced technology for growing high-quality seeds of spring barley varieties, which includes pre-sowing treatment of seeds, combined application of plant growth regulator Radostim and microwave electromagnetic field of extremely high frequency in the mode of 1.8 kW/kg and 20-second exposure, which increases the laboratory germinability by 1-2%, reduces spread and development of root rots; the technical efficiency is 28-69%; gain in the grain yield is 0.14-0.15 t/ha; and the profit gain is 258-299 UAH/ha . 3. A technology for growing sweet corn with limited use of fertilizers and chemical plant protection, which provides the greatest profit of 13,283.65 UAH/ha, and the profitability level of 410.1%. 4. An eco-friendly technology for growing spring barley with limited use of agro-resources and application of micronutrients in the leaf tube formation phase, which provides the spring barley yield capacity of 5.7 t/ha and the profitability level of 63.8%. 5. A technology for growing hard spring wheat without basic fertilizer after grain corn and with micronutrient and plant growth regulator, which provides the gain in grain yield of 0.19-0.25 t/ha and 0.60-0.78 t/ha, respectively; the net profit increased by 68.0 UAH/ha. The technologies recommended are being implemented on farms of the Kharkiv region and areas located in the Northern Steppe and Southern Forest-Steppe of the Left-Bank Ukraine Product Description popup.authors
