Study Purpose - development of methods of spring triticale breeding for increased adaptability, stable yields and high quality; search for new sources of high-quality grain and adaptability. Creation of new spring triticale varieties with high and stable yield capacity, high adaptability, improved baking and mixing properties of flour. Study Methods - breeding: hybridization, selection; analysis: ontogenic, laboratory, statistico-mathematical. Theoretical and Practical Results. A technique of spring triticale breeding for increased adaptability and yield capacity was developed. The technique contributes to accelerated creation of valuable breeding material and combination the traits of increased adaptability and yield capacity in one genotype. It consists in application of effective intergeneric and intraspecific hybridization schemes using spring triticale forms with a set of valuable for breeding characteristics and sources of valuable economic traits highlighted in the gene pool of soft winter and spring wheat and winter triticale. The technique is presented in a scientific publication intended for breeders, researchers, specialists of breeding and research institutions, teachers of higher education institutions, post-graduate students and students of the corresponding profile. Spring triticale varieties 'Dar Khlіba Kharkіvskyy' with good baking and mixing properties, stable yields and 'Borivіter Kharkіvskyy" with consistently high yields, lodging resistance, resistance to brown leaf rust and Septoria leaf blotch were created, entered in the State Register and implemented in production; the state variety trials of varieties 'Husar Kharkіvskyy' with increased drought resistance and 'Volia Kharkіvska' with increased stability of yields and easy threshing are under way; variety 'Zlіt Kharkіvskyy' with good quality and mixing properties of flour and alternate triticale variety "Pіdzymok Kharkіvskyy' for fodder and technical of usage was created and submitted for the state registration. The varieties are suitable for growing for food, fodder and technical purposes on farms of different ownership forms in the forest-steppe, steppe and woodlands.
