A. V. YA. YURYEV NATIONAL ACADEMY OF AGRАRIAN SCIENCES OF UKRAINE popup.description2 Research Object - predecessors, fertilizers, basic tillage in crop rotation, cultivation technologies, winter (wheat, rye, triticale) and spring (hard and soft wheat, triticale, barley) spiked cereals, maize, pea, varieties, hybrids. Research Purpose - to develop theoretical foundations for effective use of the soil fertility potential in crop rotation, of organic and mineral fertilizers, of the biological potential and adaptability of varieties under optimization of elements of cereal cultivation technologies in the conditions of insufficient and unstable moistening. Results - based on the studies of dependences of performance and cereal grain quality on crop rotations, organic and mineral fertilizers, ways of basic tillage, basic elements of cultivation technologies of cereal varieties and hybrids were optimized: after autumn fallow and pea the winter wheat yield capacity was produced by varieties 'Statna', 'Urozhay', 'Mulan' with the seeding rates of 4.0 and 5.5 million seeds/ha, respectively, sowing time in decade II, and application of increased fertilizer doses in decade III of September. Pre-sowing dressing of seeds should be combined with growth regulator Bioglobin at the dose of 0.5 L / t, and during spring root fertilization it is advisable to apply urea at the doses of N20-40. This technology ensures the winter wheat yields of 4.0-5.0 t / ha, when N30P30K30 is applied as the main fertilizer, they increased to 7.0 t / ha. If sowing is late (October) preference should be given the best predecessors - seeded fallow, soybean and kidney bean, and for winter triticale and rye cultivation they are seeded fallow, kidney bean and corn. N75P45K45 application after them provided the highest yields: wheat - 5.60-5.66 t / ha, triticale - 5.42-5.64 t / ha, rye - 5.22-5.60 t / ha. The mandatory elements of this technology are chopping of predecessor residue and good basic (two-three disk plowing) as well as preplant tillage. This technology is recommended for winter wheat varieties 'Alians', 'Sovershennaya'; winter triticale varieties 'Raritet', 'Semenovka'; winter rye varieties 'Slobozhanets F1', 'Pamyat Khudoerka'. Spring cereals after soybean and sugar beet provide the highest yields in case of varieties of soft wheat varieties 'Lyubimaya' and 'KVS Shirokko' (4.20-4.64 t / ha); hard wheat varieties 'Izolda' and 'Novatsiya' (3.33-3.68 t / ha); triticale variety 'Darkhliba Kharkivskyy' (4.05-4.33 t / ha), and barley varieties 'Obrazets' and 'Kozvan' (4.21-5.10 t / ha). Soft and hard spring wheat, spring triticale and two-rowed awny barley varieties should be grown at the seeding rates of 4.5-5.0 million seeds/ha, and two-rowed and six-rowed awnless barley varieties - 3.500 million seeds/ha. Among pea varieties, leafless ones should be preferred - 'Korvet', 'Geyser' and 'Oplot', which after N30P30K30 application as the main fertilizer provide yields of 2.60-2.70 t / ha. When grain corn is grown, hybrids FAO 180-270 should be preferred with sowing time decade III of April and basic fertilization at the dose of N30P30K30 Product Description popup.authors
