A. V. YA. YURYEV NATIONAL ACADEMY OF AGRАRIAN SCIENCES OF UKRAINE popup.description2 Study Object - soybean, breeding of new varieties. Study Objective - creation of high-yielding and resistant to biotic and abiotic environmental factors soybean varieties by intervarietal hybridization and experimental mutagenesis followed by repeated individual selection. Study Methods - planning and carrying out field experiments, measuring/weighing, biochemical, breeding, genetic methods, statistical analysis. A method for determining thermoresistance of soybean acessions, which enables screening of source and breeding material for resistance to high temperatures was developed and tested. It allows accelerated breeding of new resistant to high temperatures soybean varieties by 2-3 years and reduces the cost of breeding. A working collection of soybean (Glycine max L.) by resistance to drought and heat was created and registered in the NCPGRU (registration certificate of the plant gene pool collection s of Ukraine No 161 dd 12.09.2014). The collection includes 83 accessions originating from 15 countries. Countries of origin and the number of accessions from each country are distributed as follows: Ukraine - 35, Russia - 16, Canada - 8, China - 5, USA - 4, Belarus - 3, Japan - 2, France - 2, Serbia - 2, Czech Republic , Kazakhstan, Moldova, Poland, Sweden, Austria - 1 from each. Ten accessions from the collection were recorded in the National Center for Plant Genetic Resources of Ukraine as examples of the plant gene pool: Sprint (UD0200896, certificate No 000162 dd 17.11.2005), Soniachna (UD0200486, certificate No 000163 dd 17.11.2005), Ustia (UD0200773, certificate No 000166 dd 17.11.2005), Vorskla (UD0201957, certificate No 000487 dd 25.11.2008), Antratsit (UD020222, certificate No 000593 dd 16.11.2009), Alіsa (UD0202233, certificate No 000611 dd 16.11.2009), Galі (UD0202344, certificate No 001196 dd 12.09.2014), Soier 345 (UD0202285, certificate No 001197 dd 12.09.2014), Pripiat (UD0201837, certificate No 001198 dd 09.12.2014). Use of the collection for training and scientific purposes will allow exploring mechanisms of resistance to drought and heat and creating new soybean varieties resistant to unfavorable environmental factors. Early-ripening grain soybean varieties 'Vyshyvanka' (application No 15045002 dd 01.27.2015), 'Krasunia' (application No 15045001 dd 01.27.2015) and Veresneva (protocol No 11 dd 29.10.2015 of the Academic Council of PPI nd. a VYa Yuriev) were created and transferred to the state variety trials. Soybean variety 'Vyshyanka' had the average yield capacity of 1.91 t/ha, which is by 18.6% higher than that of the standard. The growing season length ranged within 95-100 days. The plant height varied from 75 cm to 85 cm. The protein content in seeds was on average 38.0%, fat content - 20.5%. In soybean variety 'Krasunia', the yield capacity was 1.97 t/ha with the gain of 22.4% related to the standard is. The growing season length was 95-100 days. The plant height varied between 65-70 cm. The protein content in seeds was on average 38.7%, fat content - 21.0%. Soybean variety 'Veresneva' showed the average yield capacity of 2.20 t/ha, which was by 25.7% higher than that of the standard. The growing season length was 100 days. The plant height ranged within 65-80 cm. The protein content in seeds was on average 38.9%, fat content - 21.0%. The varieties created meet the requirements of modern agricultural production and are on par with the best international and domestic analogues Product Description popup.authors Кобизєва Любов Никифорівна Посилаєва Оксана Олександрівна Сєрікова Любов Григорівна Сокол Тетяна Володимирівна Чернишенко Павло Володимирович popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
