Foremost, it is about problems of regulation of the regulatory and legal framework, improvement of the communication policy, support of the scientific researches in the field of information policy and information safety, promotion of media research and monitoring information space, providing transparency of media ownership, increasing media literacy of population, information activities in the occupied territories. The current challenges of the information space of Ukraine by the Russian Federation and the ways of responding to them were analyzed. The problem of optimization of the state of cyber security as a component of information security was considered separately. The necessity of consideration under planning of safety in the cybersecurity sector to consider global trends and optimize of the kiberpotential of aggressor state was claimed.
