Information × Registration Number 0216U003529, 0113U001536 , R & D reports Title Synchronous and Diachronic Typological and Contrastive Research of Lexis and Word-Building in Languages with Different Systems popup.stage_title Head Seniv Mykhajlo Hryhorovych, Registration Date 29-01-2016 Organization Donetsk National University popup.description2 The research object are the verbal vocabulary denoting dynamic and spatial localization in the Slavic languages as for their derivational potential; noun three-composites in Middle High German.The aim of the research is to find out the word-formation potential of verbs with dynamic and spatial localization as well as structural and semantic typology of verbal formations in the Slavic languages; to discover the peculiarities of the development of noun three-composites as one of the most important subsystems of composite-formation in Middle High German.The used research methods: descriptive method, that allows to conduct the inspection of the deverbals at a synchronic cut as means of taking an inventory of the verbs of speaking and explanation of their formation features and functioning in synchrony; the comparative one, which is used during the process of the comparison of the Slavic formative verbs of dynamic spatial localization and their derivatives; the method of componential analysis that allowed to analyse the components of lexical and word-formation semantics to form the data by the analysis of semantic structure of the verbs of speaking; the method of transformation by means of which the sampling of syntactic correlates is carried out as well as semantic and syntactic relations are determined among their components; the typological one for the classification of the different structure language facts concerning the expression of the verbs of speaking semantics; comparative and historical method for the establishment of the genetic cognation and study of historical development of the analysed language phenomena; the etymological one for the origin determination and interpretation of semantic evolution vector of lexemes under study; the method of immediate constituents is applied to determine the structural organization of the units analysed; the one of the quantitative analysis that allowed to objectively define and compare the productivity of structural and semantic types of the units.The scientific novelty of the work consists in the stem-centered approach during the analysis of the word-formation in the Slavic languages that has been realized for the first time, the related derivational problems are formulated and solved. This is the first time when the verbal derivatives have been described as an original, specific subsystem of the word-formation system of the Slavic languages with their peculiar structure of the word-formation semantics, with the methods of word-formation and word-formation resources; it has been for the first time that the complex research of semantics of noun three-composites in Middle High German and New High German was described and the role and the importance of three-component nouns in the system of German composite-formation was analyzed. The theoretical novelty of the research consists in the fact that it has been realized the systematical description of the structure and the semantics of noun three-composites in discovering the peculiarities of the development of three-component nouns in German language.
