Data for three species on genes mentioned are for the first time submitted to the GenBank. It is for the first time shown that the Rusavskia papillifera group forms the separate monophyletic branch in the Rusavskia s.l. clade with the highest level of support on the basis of phylogenetic analysis after nuclear and mitochondrial DNA sequences, as well as special revision of morphology, anatomy and chemistry of the subfamily Xanthorioideae of the family Teloschistaceae. New for science genus Zeroviella of the subfamily Xanthorioideae of the family Teloschistaceae as well as new for science species Zeroviella esfahanensis are described. New nomenclature combinations for the representatives of the genus Zeroviella are proposed. Lectotypification of Caloplaca awasthii is provided.
