Introduction extent is determined by scientific and methodological accompaniment of social and educational work concerning the prevention of child abandonment at the level of territorial communities of Luhansk, Syevyerodonetsk, Starobilsk, Lviv and educational process of The University of Luhansk, The Ukrainian Catholic University, The Lviv University. Correlation with other works: "Contents and technology of social and educational activity with at-risk children" (state registration number 0107U000971). Recommendations for application of work results: the prevention process of child abandonment at the level of territorial communities can be effective if it is organized as a system and provided with toolset, presented at work. Field of application: social and educational activity of subjects within city territorial community concerning the prevention of child abandonment, educational process of institutes of higher education which train social sphere specialists for prevention of child abandonment under conditions of city territorial community. Cost-effectiveness: goal achievement in prevention of child abandonment without extra investments, provision of subjects within city territorial community with technological toolset and scientific and methodic production.
