The processes of high temperature treatment of the growth halide melts in the reactive gas atmosphere (carbohalogenation) were studied. The procedure to determine distribution coefficient of activator between the growth melt and the formed single crystal on the basis of the mixed matrixes of sodium, calcium and barium halides was developed.
