Purpose is to ensure that by analyzing domestic and foreign laws, taking into account the conceptual development of legal science and law enforcement competent authorities to improve the theoretical basis and practical regulation of financial responsibility for violations of financial laws in Ukraine. Methods Research work is based on a set of application techniques and methods of scientific knowledge, which directed a systematic approach that allows to solve tasks, taking into account their social and practical significance. The main result is the definition of content and establishing financial responsibility in science finance, development of scientifically based proposals and recommendations to improve regulation of financial responsibility on the basis of international experience. Normative research information sources are national legislation: Constitution of Ukraine, the Tax Code of Ukraine and other subordinate legal acts of reference and scientific literature. The study was empirical generalization of practice of regulatory authorities, scientific publications in periodicals of reference literature and study the experience of member states. The main results are identified in the concept and content of establishing financial responsibility, developing proposals to improve the definitions and legal regulation of financial responsibility in Ukraine.
