Regularities of atomic rearrangements are ascertained that accompany the instability of crystal structure of metal and atomic bonds break under the specific conditions, which are realized in nano-volume ahead of the crack nucleus tip. On this basis, theory of the influence of these processes on stability of the metal ductile state on macroscopic level is formulated.
