Kyrdyumov Institute for Metall Physics of N.A.S. of Ukraine popup.description2 It was established experimentally that a substantial intensification diffusion processes in the metastable Fe-Ni alloys by cycle martensitic transformations determined by two independent mechanisms - athermal, which was realized due to the emergence of the field of internal stresses in the process of transformation , and thermally aktivated, which was realized in the course of the next diffusion tempering due to the acceleration of diffusion in the field of accumulated defects of the crystal structure. Regimes of the thermobaric treatment of Fe-Al-C alloys and conditions of formation of the diamond crystals with developed surface can be used in the manufacture of superhard materials. Because of a significant difference in cooling rate the amount of martensitic phase on free surface of Fe-Ni films obtained by melt spinning, was more of ( 25-28 )% compared to the contact area and in the central area of the free side the amount of martensitic phase of greater ( 10- 12 )% than in the periferal area (edge effect). The established regularities of distribution of the amount of martensitic phase determined mainly by the dimensional effect in martensitic transformation.
