Objects for investigations and priority fitting with AE monitoring system have been selected. Preliminary high-temperature AE studies were performed on structural material samples (12Kh1MF, 15Kh1M1F steels – hot industrial overheating steam pipelines and 16GNMA steel – TGM-96 boiler drum). Algorithms and programs for evaluation of material state on samples have been optimized. Brief technical requirements to the procedure of taking decisions on structure state and their residual life with application of EMA-3 technical diagnostic system, have been developed. Structure of the system of AE monitoring of hot industrial overheating steam pipelines and TGM-96 boiler drum and requirements to its individual components have been determined. Required number of AE transducers, technology of their mounting on wave guides, and scheme of transducer arrangement on the objects, have been established. Preliminary experimental work has been performed. Brief technical requirements to continuous monitoring system and to the procedure of taking decisions on the state of hot industrial overheating steam pipelines and TGM-96 boiler drum and evaluation of their residual life have been developed. The facilities were prepared for system mounting and performance of commissioning operations.
